Today let us recap a bit and check if

1. mindset is up there where we need it and
2. notes you are taking become active and do not remain a pure theory.

The best notes won’t help you if you do not apply what you learn and turn it into action!

Life rewards those who take action and not only notes. You could also say that you need to find the right balance between perfection and action. The Web is moving so fast that it eventually will be impossible to first learn all tools and systems available for your successful launch of your home based internet business.

It is important that you make a concrete plan! You have to decide

1)  What do I really want to achieve (affiliate program versus my own product)?

2)  How much time am I able to spend on working this business per week?

3)  Which courses you might want or need to purchase – do not buy everything that you come across. Use your intuition and take what attracts you most – it will be the best one for you, to use and get you started!

4)  Have your mindset right, be ready for success and do not get lost in worries about different methods, technology or whatever your thoughts might be. It is key that you have a concrete vision of your ultimate goal as this will bring your success and your online income stream flowing!

On your way to success in the world of internet business opportunities, you will meet many people that are on their way as well. All working and moving in the same direction, each of us still being so different and unique. And this is a wonderful USB the world of internet marketing and online business has and offers all of us. We can exchange our experiences and thoughts with others in our same position. We can learn from them as they can learn from us. The way to do this is in online forums mainly.

Forums are essential for your success in a few ways

1)  Forums allow you to pose your question and get real-live, proven and experienced answers to them.

2)  Forums can answer questions on forums and get known to people, show them who you are and what you know. You might not (yet) be an expert on Internet business strategies, but for sure you are in many other areas of private and business life that you can share in there.

3)  Forums are a great possibility, absolutely free of charge, for driving traffic to your site and therefore for attracting new potential customers
Especially through the contact to others in your situation you might get the feeling that many people are acting while are and still are studying and learning – because of this feeling that you have of having to know as much as possible before being able to start going “live”. Be sincere and take a look at the bunch of things you have purchased and signed up for. You might turn grey and old and still not be online. Therefore take you first action today!

Visualize your situation to yourself, write down in detail what you have already learned and achieved. Set a clear road and plan for what you really desire. By doing so there will be nothing left to stop you from finally turning theory into action and starting your online success now!

Today it is time to search for the right product or service to serve Your niche!

Let us start straight away:

You have identified your market and niche. You have learned about the market and niche, have done some market research on the interests and problems people have in this specific market you have chosen.

Now it is time to

1. find out who the biggest players in terms of products are in this niche;
2. check out what they offer;
3. chose among the offering the product or service you prefer and feel most comfortable with and
4. optimize this for your success!

Finding the main players is quite easy as it is enough to type in your main keywordphrase into Google and see what organic results pop up. So, if we remain with our example of the niche skiing and have decided to start off with the sub branch of “helmets for skiing”, this is exactly what you would type into Google to find out the number one online sales point for ski helmets.

In general, speaking about products, you need to make a clear difference between physical products (as our helmets) and information products. Personally, I do prefer offering information products mainly. This has a few reasons:

• You do not have to keep any stock;
• You do not have to bother about logistics nor costs of sending the products to people;
• People can get their purchase immediately, by simply downloading (in most of the cases) what they had ordered;
• It is fast and very cost effective: it might take you even US$15k to create an information product, but once it is done, up and running, there is basically no more cost involved – so it becomes highly profitable to you and your business.

Some niches might request physical products to market; you might have your own creation which is a physical product. Learn from the best in your niche to see how they manage it and become even more successful than they are.

Be it a physical or an information product that you chose, make sure to

1. find the big players in your niche;
2. opt-in to their list;
3. read and check all they have;
4. make a list of all the things you like and what does not appeal to you;
5. Buy from them if possible or at least consider doing so;
6. Do a small market test before deciding on one specific product or service and a detailed marketing plan and strategy to run.

We will identify many more elements, including the small market test in the upcoming sessions. For now, go back to your niche and identify and study the main players in there!

You have identified where your passion and energy lies, you have set a clear goal and learned about the niche and and niche sub branches you want to enter.

Now it is time to find a “hot” market, a winning market and the right product and / or service to market for!

We have spoken about the niche of skiing in session 3. We have also identified several sub niches as

• how to ski
• gloves for skiing
• skiing accessories
• etc.

Now we want to find out which of the sub niches are those that can bring us most money or most value in terms of a fast growing list for instance.

This is information that you can find quite easily on any search machine. I use preferably Google where I search for forums on my niche of interest. Forums give you a great idea of what people speak about, what issues they have, what answers and solutions they are looking for.

Enter those discussions in case you are not completely sure. Start communicating in there with your potential customers.

Another great source of information are online magazines. If a niche has an online magazine that deals with it, then, oh yes, you can be assured that it is a “hot” market that it is worth striving for. Just type your niche + magazine into the search engine and you will know immediately if it is worth going for it or not!

Just to become really clear about this important lesson, let us take the example of “make money from home” as market we want to enter:

• eBay
• Information Product Creation
• How to Start a Business Online
• Copywriting
• Free Traffic Generation
• WebSite Creation
• How to learn HTML Coding
• etc.

All the above are examples of sub niches from the “make money from home” niche.

1. Check out which ones attract you most (some will focus on the writing skills, others on the website creation and therefore more techie parts, others on a combination of both, etc.)
2. Identify which have forums and online magazines
3. Start with one sub niche and then
4. Branch out to the other niches

This is the strategy to use for earning around the niche. Touching people at different moments on different topics, all relevant to them – as long as they are prospects and active members of your selected niche.

Once you have understood this mechanism, go out there and apply it. Search your niche; do some real marketing research and learn all you can about it and all possible sub niches.
