We are on day 3 and our main topic today is finding a winning niche.

There are three main questions around “the niche”:

1. What is a niche?
2. Why is a niche so important?
3. How can I find a winning niche?

We will start answering today … and the fine tuned version of any question related to a niche, will grow by itself as we proceed here with our training camp.

So let us start now!

First of all you need to be sure in which market you want to enter. Where is it that you have experience and passion? What is it that you want to market? You will not be authentic to market on to any niche, if you are not a potential buyer and customer of this particular niche yourself. Passion drives and it is passion and emotion that makes people act and buy. It is not theory nor is it the intellectual part of our brain.

So let us assume that you want to do something in the field of sports; sports is your overall market. From there you start drilling down into sports for athletes, sports for business people; water sports, mountain sports, etc. You drill further down to end up with the skiing market for instance. Still, the skiing market might be a vast one where you can

• sell skis
• sell skiing boots
• sell gloves
• sell skiing outfits
• sell skiing courses
• sell after ski training
• sell ski preparation courses
• etc.

I guess the above is far from being a complete list of all the offers you could make with the skiing market, but am sure you can appreciate the scope of a niche and how vast the possibilities in there actually are.

Find out everything you can about your niche. First get a top level niche (skiing in our above example) and then branch out! Don’t be afraid to branch out as there might be money in the different branches. I might be interested in skiing but just have bought new skis … but maybe if you keep me in mind and therefore posted on your different offerings, tomorrow there might be my need for a after ski training idea … so here we go, you have me as client or at least as hot prospect on your list!

Still, you do not need to set up your niche from the very beginning in many branches. Start with one or two and then steadily branch out, to serve your niche and to act towards your success! This is where the money is!

When engaging in affiliate marketing, you enjoy the luxury of others having invented and created products and services that fit your nice and you “just” need to drive traffic to the website and “simply” sell it!

I am well aware of the fact that “just driving traffic” and “simply selling” is not a easy to accomplish as to say … but believe me, by being on this training camp here, you have already made the first step towards it!

I warmly recommend you use the option of affiliate marketing, even more if it is the first time you start to market a product or service online. You can concentrate on earning activities and do not need to worry about a whole product or service from the very beginning. You might very well want to do so in a second step, once you have acquainted yourself better with all main options and risks of online marketing and online sales.

By engaging in any affiliate marketing activity you will be able to

• earn commissions (we will analyze how those should look like in a next session to come soon),
• enjoy fast profitability,
• neglect any support issues as the founder and owner of the product you are marketing will take care of all these issues;
• work towards “scalability” or “economies of scale” meaning a chance for multiple revenue streams, depending on how you set up your business and let it move to the next level. The power of autoresponders, list building and copywriting are just a few of the key elements we will touch to allow you to best profit from the opportunity to grow your business fast!

The other day we were speaking about press releases and their power!

Today I want to introduce another very important online marketing tool, extremely powerful and free of charge! It is your willingness, your work adn effort that bring the results desired!

So, what is an Ezine? An Ezine is an Electronic magazine, this is where the name comes from.

The goal of Ezines is to offer in depth content on a specific topic or issue, just the way we are used to find it in magazines, newspapers or press columns. Usually these articles are written by professional journalists and experts on specific topics, based on key leader opinions and interviews .

You can find Ezines on all topics you only could imagine; there are specific Ezines of golfing as well as for young mothers, on Internet Business as well as on latest holiday trends. As Ezines are published exclusively online they have to pass the so called CMS (Content Management System) which is a tool that allows to exactly place the article in a professional way online, making sure that all aspects and formats are reflected as they would need to do for professional article writing. In short, one can say that CMS is the tool online publishers use for publishing Ezines to the Web!

Among the most famous sites for ezines are ezinearticles.com, goarticles.com and articledashboard.com.

With this in mind, go and chek it out, start gathering content and write your first article. Once you have written the first one you will feel really proud of yourself and see that there is no mystery behind but a straight forward and powerful online marketing tool!
